Kate Bishop-Williams, MSc PhD
Director and Principal Consultant
Kate Bishop-Williams earned her Masters of Science in Population Medicine and her Doctorate in Epidemiology from the University of Guelph in 2014 and 2020, respectively. She is an epidemiologist with a focus on rural public health and health equity in Canada and abroad.
Her expertise lies in:

emerging diseases.
Kate worked in public health throughout the pandemic, supporting all areas of the COVID-19 Pandemic response, including outbreaks, case management, and vaccines.
Kate has extensive experience engaging communities in needs assessments, gap analyses, and strategic visioning processes.
Kate has published approximately 15 peer-reviewed articles and is the lead author of several governmental reports. Kate has spent years working as a science communicator and honing skills as a knowledge translation expert.
Kate is a highly skilled public health educator, having taught public health and global health courses at higher education institutions across Southern Ontario. Kate has extensive training in adult-learning principles and applies that to course and workshop design.
